All Kinds of Mutts

Who’s got those corporate mutt inner voices? You know, you’re in meetings all day and the V.P. of Marketing loves the sound of his own voice. Mental masturbation is his favorite public hobby and he never shuts up, but you’re his boss and he’s good at what he does, so you tolerate him.

But your inner voice can’t stop. “Hey, how many times are you going to say the same thing in ten different ways?!”

You’re a sophisticated professional, though, and you hold back, manage to make it through your weekly meeting with him, and decide that you can think whatever you want about him. He’s good at what he does, and that’s life.

There are all kinds of people in the world. We can always think anything we want inside our own noodle.talkbubble

Thought for the day: Feel free to let your inner voice roam. That’s what it’s there for. Sometimes it can help you make the inconsistencies in life more tolerable.

Certain books, magazines, journals, periodicals and newsletters discriminate against the self-published author in that they refuse
to review our work. Young actor Lily Andrew is wonderful as Scout and so is Clink Blakely
as Jem (Blakely alternates his part with Matthew O’Rourke).

Jem assures Scout the editor of the newspaper will not tell their father about them seated
together with the colored people although there is
a possibility he might write it in his newspaper’s social section.
